Tips for Girls’ Weekend in Vegas
A weekend in Vegas isn’t just for the guys; it’s also for the girls! Check out these tips for a girls’ weekend in Vegas and show everyone that the real fun is in town.
Okay ladies, lets get down to business. Vegas isn’t just for the boys, and you know you and your girls can have an even better time. And to make sure of that, here are tips for a girls’ weekend in Vegas of all kinds, whether you want to lounge by the pool or party like a rock star.
1. Where to Stay
My number one tip for a girls’ weekend in Vegas is to have a strong home base, a place where you feel comfortable spending your time. Check out the Venetian for luxury or Mandalay Bay for a wild time.
The Venetian Resort is, hands down, the nicest place I have ever stayed at in Vegas. It has the new Vegas feel with everything you would ever need you never have to step foot outside of the hotel if you choose. The shopping is unreal in the Italian-themed shopping mall. All the rooms are suites, and the place has 19 international restaurants. World-class casinos are steps from your suite, and there are five pool decks in this fantastic resort. A bit of a walk from the heart of the Strip, The Venetian is best for those looking for supreme relaxation.
Mandalay Bay has it all: nightclubs, bars, pools, and a real sand beach. I recommend getting a drink at the House of Blues then heading to Rumjungle for a wild dance party. Directly on the Strip, Mandalay Bay isn’t far from the rest that Vegas has to offer.
2. How to Party
When I venture out, I head to the LAX at the Luxor where women in packs rule. If you get a VIP table, you can watch as guys crawl over themselves to try and sit with you and your friends. You’ll be talking about your night at the LAX for the next ten years.
The lines at Vegas nightclubs can sometimes be overwhelming, but don’t worry, the clubs have got your back. Clubs hand out VIP cards so you can get into the club faster and for free. Whatever you do, don’t pay for the cards, they are meant to be free. Dress your best and hang out in your casino in the late afternoon when the club promoters come through. When they spot you looking good, you’re sure to get a much-coveted card.
3. Where to Grab Some Sun
Take the party from the dance floor to the pool for a wet and wild day. The party truly never stops in Vegas, and neither should you. The Rehab pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will not disappoint. Or if you prefer, you can always catch a nap poolside at one of the quieter pools.
4. Where to Relax
Hit the spa. For the day after, get back to normal at the Bellagio Spa. The Bellagio built this award-winning oasis in the desert with only the goal of pampering you and your friends. The luxurious 65,000-square-foot palace will replenish you with all kinds of unique treatments.
5. What to See
While your girls’ weekend is going to be full of clubs, parties, and gambling, you’re also going to want to pencil in some time for a show.
Zumanity is my favorite. Located at New York New York, this Cirque du Soleil show will make you laugh and blush at the same time. It’s only for adults, making it perfect for a girls’ weekend in Vegas.
6. Where to Shop
The shopping in Vegas is world class. All the major brands are here in one spot, and you’d be crazy to not look.
Head over to the Forum Shops at Caesars’s Palace. The mall has a great mix of the high-end brands and the standard mall decorum. Grab some cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory on the way out because you’re on vacation and you’ve earned it.
