No trip to Las Vegas is complete without checking out the diverse offering of shops. Las Vegas does shopping in a big way.
Whether you’re looking for a souvenir or a designer handbag, you’ll find it in one of the many stores offering everything from budget gift items to upscale clothing and jewelry.
There are shopping options in some of the big hotels, and in squares or plazas on the main strip. Much like gambling, big shows, and anything else in this city, shopping in Las Vegas is a contact sport. Here are some places to start your shopping adventure in Las Vegas.
Studio Walk
Located on the strip at the MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd S, Studio Walk has a selection of shops offering fine jewelry, upscale clothing for men and women, athletic wear and special character memorabilia. Looking for your Elvis centerpiece? You might find it here.
Crystals at City Center
Another option on the strip at 3720 Las Vegas Blvd S., this huge retail space includes the flagship stores of many retailers. If you’re looking for designer labels like Prada, Carolina Herrera, Hermes, Roberto Cavalli, Cartier, or Versace, then Crystals at City Center is the place for your Las Vegas shopping adventure. This location offers a concierge service providing personalized shopping, dining and show arrangements for clients.
Fashion Show Las Vegas
The Fashion Show Las Vegas is a 2 million square foot mall on the strip at 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. S. This malls includes familiar names like Macy’s, Dillards and Nordstrom. There are over 250 stores in total, including specialty shops that offer great gifts and souvenirs. The Fashion Show Las Vegas is a great place to spend a day shopping and grabbing some food.
Tower Shops
The Tower Shops at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino at the 2000 block of the strip offers a shopping and site-seeing experience in one. Arranged in an international theme celebrating famous landmarks and streets after places such as Paris, Hong Kong and New York City, a trip through these shops will transport you to a new place. These shops are a one-stop place for anyone looking for a gift to take home, a unique item form a specialty shop or a chance to try some new food.
Forum Shops at Ceasar's
With 160 specialty shops and a multitude of dining options, the Forum at Ceasars is often said to rival some of the finest shopping in Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris. Located on the 3500 block of the strip, the Forum Shops are open every day, from 10 am to 11pm Sunday through Thursday, and until 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday. Stores include Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Christian Dior and more.
Las Vegas Premium Outlets
Shoppers looking for a good deal in Las Vegas should consider getting off the strip and heading to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, located downtown at 875 S Grand Central Pkwy. Here you will find many of the same big names from the strip, including Dolce & Gabbana, Coach, Salvatore Ferragamo and more, but expect to pay a lot less than you would at the shops on Las Vegas Blvd. With 150 stores, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets are sure to have something for every shopper looking for a deep discount, between 25 to 65 percent of retail, on items from their favorite designers.
Shopping in Vegas is a favorite activity, and for some, scoring a great find or scouting out the perfect souvenir is as important as seeing the shows, playing the slots or going on a gastronomical tour on the strip.
